Yesterday while riding in the car Grayson said to us, "Mom and Dad, when I grow up I want to be one of those people who picks up garbage off the ground."
Hmmm. I mean you've got to appreciate his willingness to do his part to help protect our planet, but isn't another name for one of those people JAIL INMATE?!?!

I LOVE what the kids come up with! Yesterday Ryan was being a little pill in the store and I told him I wasn't happy with the way he was acting and he looked at me in all seriousness and said "Seriously Mom, what I really need is a not so hot (what he calls a hot choc from Dutch Bros) to occupy myself." After I told him no, he then says "well then, I'm not happy with you either." Out of the mouths of babes!
so, what is wrong with that? He is inpired by all that he sees, he is willing to "go green" for the earth and you might not have to worry about paying for his college tuition...what are your worries? hee hee
Oh my! That's a story he will be hearing for the rest of his life!
And I wouldn't worry - I'm sure he will gain loftier goals soon!
Reminds me of Tara when she was little. She told us she was going to grow up and make lots of money and give it to us so we could pay all our bills. When I asked her what she was going to be when she grew up she said, "I don't know for sure yet - either a cowgirl or a cheerleader". I didn't get my hopes up!
I found your blog off of Robin's blog. We go to their church. I've checked in on your blog before...your life is similar to my own and I enjoy reading what you have to say. This story CRACKED ME UP!! I'm still laughing. How sweet of him. Thanks for making my morning!
