Crazy Kid


Well there you go. We were wondering how and when Grayson would be able to use those goggles and snorkel that he got from Grandma Pearl months ago!

(The sprinkler is on if you can't tell.)


Now just to find a use for the inflatable boat...

Daph is always coming down with the funniest combinations of dress up etc!

Love the goggles or if you're Maisie they're "gobbles".

Here's a great Salsa recipe:

6 roma tomatoes cut into small chunks
1 jalapeno pepper - remove the seeds (that's where the HOT is) and mince it very fine
1 small yellow onion - I prefer walla walla's but any sweet onion will do. Dice it very fine.
Cilantro - just a handful. Cut off the stems and mince the leaves very fine.
Toss all this together in a bowl and I put fresh lime juice over the top - 1 to 2 limes. This gives it a fun kick.
Salt generously.
I then take two to three avocados and mash them up and add it to the salsa.
You want to prepare it right before you eat it because all the fresh veggies tend to "water" down. The lime juice adds a kick but also keeps the avacado from turning brown.
We eat this all summer long!
